Ok, but Raziel didn't hate Kain.
If he did, he would've killed him the minute he emerged from the abyss and wouldn't have cared what Kain had to say because he would've believed it was all a lie.
Raziel was possessed when he ripped out Kain's heart, and at the end of Defiance you can tell Raziel is happy to be with Kain once more

If he had killed him then we wouldn't have had 3 more wonderful games with which to drool over!

And I remember. That fight was FUN!! And I mean that sincerely! I enjoyed myself finally seeing/playing Kain and Raziel going head-to-head in a knock-down-drag-out fight. And at the end, it was more the realization that Kain was not his real enemy, and that it was Moebius and the Elder God who had forced this destiny on them both. So it made him more willing to give in to his own fate with the knowledge that it could possibly help end the cycle, and allow Nosgoth to finally be whole again.

But then again, if there is a next game(which there undoubtedly will be given that the Hylden have yet to be defeated, and the Elder God has only been stopped temporarily), then we'll see what happens. Frankly I cried at the end just before the final boss fight.

Sure, I did enjoy the fight between Kain and Raziel.
However, I still think the ending scene would've played out much differently if Raziel felt that he was being forced to be Kain's ally.
It made me cry too.

There's a mistake you keep making in profile views, regarding the lower jaw... I'm not extremely familiar with this character, but I sort of remember him not actually having a lower jaw, but that's not the point, since you seem to do it on any character you've drawn in this view.

The chin should project beyond the neck, rather than fall inside the neck, which makes it look really unnatural. Since I don't actually do anime-style art I won't try to correct a lot of things, but fixing this one particular mistake would vastly improve the appearance of your artwork, especially on characters drawn in profile.

The nose (in profile) is also especially small and the forehead really flat by extension, which looks really weird to me, but it could be your style choice. Either way, try drawing it a little larger with a slightly deeper 'indent' where it meets the forehead (approximately where the eye is) and seeing if it looks better to you, it very well might if you try it out. Getting better in art is all about practicing and experimenting with new things to find out what works best.
